Tanja Plasil er forsker 2 ved Studio Apertura. Hun har mastergrad i antropologi fra Universitet i Amsterdam og doktorgrad i tverrfaglige kulturstudier (Science and Technology Studies) fra NTNU. Doktorgradsprosjekt handlet om datomerking som en styringsteknologi og matavfallsreduksjon. Et av hennes interessefelt er mat i vid forstand.

Hun har forsket på matsystemer og bærekraftig matproduksjon og forbruk, men også om sunt kosthold og matkultur. Hennes andre interessefelt er folkehelse, kommunetilpasset helse- og velferdstjeneste, og samarbeid mellom den sivile og den offentlige sektor. Videre har hun jobbet i forskningsprosjekter på Universitet i Amsterdam og NTNU om innvandring og integrering i Belize og Argentina.

Tanja Plasil is a senior researcher at Studio Apertura. She has a master's degree in anthropology from the University of Amsterdam and a doctorate in interdisciplinary studies of culture (subdiscipline: Science and Technology Studies) from NTNU. Her doctoral project was about date labelling as a government technology and food waste reduction. One of her fields of interest is food in the broad sense.

Her research spans from food systems and sustainable food production and consumption, to healthy diets and foodculture. Her other fields of interest are public health, health and welfare services, and the cooperation between the civil and public sector. She has also worked in research projects at the University of Amsterdam and NTNU on immigration and integration in Belize and Argentina.
